I am new to wine making. Having brewed beer for over 20 years. I and starting to pan the first wine . And frankly lifting 6 gallons especially in a carboy does not thrill me. I've started to look into pumping the wine with vacuum pump or regular liquid pump. In watching videos on line I'm seeing a lot of air entering the wine during the process.. With beer this is a huge problem.. What about the wine. Obviously it seems to be quite popular so it can be done. But what do I need to watch for and what possibly do I have to do to the wine?
I'm open to suggestions and ideas..
