What movie? Man: "How about a little Champagne before we go ... it may not be cold enough." Woman: "Over the rocks would be all right."

It was North by Northwest!

The movie that had characters drinking Champagne on the Rocks was North by Northwest smile

How about that - I've probably seen that movie a dozen times.

Grace Kelly suggesting Champagne on the rocks? Another illusion shattered. ('Course, she was a Philly girl.)

Yep, A real classic from Hitchcock and is concerned among the best ones from him. Cary and Eva Marie saint has shown the commitment.

Man, I'm flattened.

Not only do I not remember the line, but I misremember one elegant blonde for another.

Well, the last Hitchcock I have seen was "Rear Window" and that was Grace Kelly.

LOL smile

Bob and I are working our way through the AFI Top 100 movies. We saw Rear Window a few weeks ago. We saw this one about a week ago I think, and two nights ago we watched Vertigo. Funny, he seems to have a thing for elegant blondes.

I appreciate Vertigo, but I didn't "like it" in the sense that he had that great woman right there and he ran off for a woman he really knew nothing about. He loved her just because she had a nice body and she needed help.

And even the woman right there was blonde too, as I recall!

When the Vertigo woman "came back to him" she wasn't blonde and he didn't like that wink
