I definitely agree 100%! What is scary is when people store their wine in the cabinet right next to the stove and it routinely goes from 50F to 100F and back again every day. Those are the wines that tend to go bad quickly smile

Cellar keeping is an art form, I swear! I keep my wine in refrigerators specifically designed for wine. However, my partner wants to start with a wine cellar, I don't think he's planned for it. There's some great advice here - gonna make him have a read through before we make any decisions!

It shouldn't be an either-or choice - you need a cellar for longer term storage. The smaller wine fridges are good for bringing a wine to its ideal drinking temperature.
