Vernaccia di San Gimignano is a white wine made from grapes grown around Tuscany, Italy. This wine dates back hundreds of years, to Greek sailors. It has long enjoyed a reputation of high quality. It is not often known outside of Italy as only limited quanitites are grown.

The wines tend to be full bodied and on the bitter side.
