Italian Red Wine Blend
Sassicaia is an Italian red wine, typically a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. This is similar to the Bordeaux blend. The vineyards are found in the Tuscany region. This is the same region that has Chianti.
Sassicaia got a shout-out in the movie "Sideways", where Maya says that she first became excited by wine when she tried a 1988 Sassicaia.
