Rosso di Montalcino is a style of Brunello. Brunello is a classic red wine made in Italy. Where Brunello traditionally has long aging times before release, Rosso is allowed to be released to the public fairly quickly - after only six months in oak and a total aging of one year. This means the winemakers can get their product out of their warehouses more quickly.

Rosso di Montalcino is created 100% from the sangiovese grape.
