Petit Verdot

Red Bordeaux Wine

Petit Verdot is legally one of the only grapes which is allowed to be used in a red Bordeaux blend. It is usually added in very small amounts to add some color and structure to the blended wine.

A few other countries have been experimenting with growing Petit Verdot and bottling it as a wine on its own.

Petit Verdot can have flavors of banana and violet.
