Banyuls Wine Information
Banyuls is a deliciously sweet red wine from Southwestern France - the Pyrenees region, to be exact. Banyuls is made from the Grenache grape, typically spending around 8 years aging in oak.
Sort of woodsy like a tawny port, Banyuls has a sweet flavor - vanilla, cinnamon, refreshing and crisp.
Banyuls goes well with chocolate, as an aperitif or dessert wine. It should be served in a small glass at 57F.
