Japanese Wine Information
Japan is often thought of primarily as the home of sake. Sake is a rice wine, or rice beer, depending on how you look at it. Rice is polished down and used to create an alcoholic, fermented beverage. This was the drink of choice for the Japanese. As western culture has influenced the Japanese, they now also make beer, wine, and other spirits. So there are now Japanese wines.
Still, if you're looking for an authentic Japanese experience, I highly recommend trying their sake offerings!
