My keets coming in 3 days, my parents smoke all the time. Is this harmful for the keets? My parents usualy smoke outside but my mom cant manuver that well from a recent back surgery.

Smoke is not the best thing for your birds I would try to keep it to the barest minimum. Its not good for people so its got to be worse for birds. Can you keep the bird in your room?

i would do my best to keep the birds away from the smoke as well as teflon fumes, hairspray, and perfume...
fumes in general are bad for them

My bird has the stay in my room due to a cat and 3 dogs. So, yea. BTW whats teflon?

teflon is nonstick coating that is found on pretty much anything that gets hot. It can be on the burners on electric ranges, frying pans, pots, cookie sheets, baking pans, hair dryers, hair straighteners and curlers... prettymuch anything that is hot on a regular basis and doesnt need things stuck to it lol.
You can either get rid of all of these things and replace them with regular pans etc or always make sure when using these tiems that the room theyre in is well ventialted as well as the room your bird is in and I always close my door to my room as well (I know I should get rid of our nonstick pans but most of them belong to my room mates and... they would be upset with me to say the least so we have rules about closing doors and making sure the vent is open and stuff)

Make your parents smoke outside. Take the cigarettes and throw them out say that Squawk did it.

my dad smokes but he does it at the other end of the house (the farthest room away) so if you can have them far away and in a room well ventalated (both your parents and keet) then it should be good. you dont want to get 2nd hand smoke, do you? neither do keets
