Keets and Tiels can get along well depending on their personalities. You can put them in separate cages at first side by side so they get used to eachother. You can take them out together, like on a playgym and watch them closely. If you notice they are getting along then they can be put together since you have a big cage. They have to be watched really closely for the first few days though. They should be separated if you see any fighting.

Also, Budgies are smaller than Tiels but they are more aggressive. If you put them together make sure you have 4 separate food bowls and 2-3 water bowls to avoid quarrels over food/water. Sometimes one will dominant and might keep the others or one from eating/drinking so it's best to have one bowl of food per bird.

Birds are like humans, some may get along and some may never get along. Just make sure you monitor them in the beginning.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I'm going on the advice of a well-respected breeder of both budgies ('keets) and cockatiels (an Australian with many years experience with both wild and captive birds of these species): Unless you have a large aviary Just. Don't. Do. It.

I'm sure people here will come up with examples of budgies and 'tiels living together in harmony, but this is the exception, not the rule. Even in the wild, budgies harass 'tiels, sometimes fatally (to either the budgie, or more commonly, the 'tiel).

This is not to say that they cannot learn to get along, with supervision, but each species should have their own cages.
