The New York Times had a REALLY interesting article today! It was about avian intelligence, and how scientists are just now realizing that birds can be as smart as hominoids. (They obviously aren't bird owners if they're just now picking up on this )

Thanks for the info Jill! That was an amazing artical. I for one never thought of birds as dumb and this artical explains why and also why people often think they are. It cracked me up about the birds putting a walnut in the road for a car to run over and crack open for them! One thing it did not mention was the robin doing the broken wing trick when a predator gets too close to its home. I think thats pretty darned smart too! Thanks again!

Thanks for showing that to us, it was really interesting! I'm so glad scientists are finally realizing how smart birds are! All the ones I've ever met have seemed smarter than any dog I've ever met!
