I often have dreams where I feel I am in "my house", as in the house in my dream is the one I feel I live in. But it isn't my actual home that I do live in.

In a dream I had last night, the house was one I've dreamt of many times. It has a lot of different rooms connected by all sorts of staircases. The basement rooms are fairly empty and I'm always thrilled when I find them, as in "wow look I can put all my junk down here and my regular part of the house will finally be clean!" But the basement rooms are also oddly shaped, very low ceilings, little nooks and you sort of have to crawl from one to the other.

In fact in my dream I crawled into one room and then got stuck trying to get back out of it, and was calling to Bob to come try to help pull me out.

Is this just my frustration with my overly messy house shining through? I spend all day working on my websites, and on my computer, so the house never gets taken care of.

I had another dream like this but in this one the back basement room was actually organized and ready for stuff to be hauled out of it. So I'm making progress!

I have a lot of house dreams and i know exactly where mine come from. I have them when I am unsure about where I will be living next. In those dreams, I am always searching for my room.

When I feel content and stable in my living arrangements, I don't have these dreams.

That's very interesting Jilly, so they definitely are an "indicator" for you of your emotions!

Yes, many people dream of their own home with large rooms. Have you ever thought about the fact that the basement in the house can become, for example, a home theater or a home gym? It will be helpful for you to learn more about basement waterproofing toronto https://www.draincom.ca/basement-waterproofing-toronto/ because with such services you can protect your basement and think about making better use of this useful free space.
