I was one of those odd children who read encyclopedias for entertainment. Through the years I have read some of the books above, and many others. I tend to view travel as an enlightening experience, and while I enjoy exploring the differences in countries and cultures-I am always surprised by the things I find we have in common.

If Google Earth had been around when I was a child, I would never have had time for studying and I would have flunked out of school!

Excellent point--I have to be careful at work, looking things up online--an hour or 2 later I have forgotten what I was looking for, but gone off on 27 different tangent searches. LOL!

Travel books and travel experiences are two of the best ways to explore the world and learn about different cultures. Travel books can be an excellent source of inspiration, providing readers with insight into various destinations and cultures. Meanwhile, traveling itself can provide a wealth of personal experiences that are invaluable for personal growth and development. If you're planning to visit Dubai, for instance, you might want to check out the Dubai Miracle Garden, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. To get more information about this stunning garden, you can visit the website https://www.discoverybit.com/directory-travel/listing/dubai-miracle-garden/.
