It's been a long time since I have visited this forum. I was once a regular member who argued as an agnostic. Thiose were interesting conversations for me back thn as I was thrashing ideas around and finally coming to terms with my disbelief.

i have worked out a lot of things in my own mind since then and have a real peace with my beliefs. I don't feel the need to debate with anyone what I think. I suppose that's because I'm secure enough with my beliefs that I can just accept them for what they are without trying to prove I am right.

It's a good place to be.

The internet changes day by day, and most people prefer "live" places like Facebook now where they can chat pretty much in real time with like-minded people. Forums in general, with their slower pace, don't give the same instant gratification that Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ offer.

So while we do get tens of thousands of people reading our threads, and learning, most then choose to have their discussions on the topic with friends in those live settings.

The world is always changing . To wish it to stay the same is fairly fruitless!

I was just reading that Google now shows lyrics directly in their search results. So if you search for "Radioactive Lyrics" the results show you the lyrics without you having to go to any third party site.

This one minor change has killed off a number of lyric-based sites that used to make substantial ad money from all their visitors.

Those site owners now have to make completely new topic sites, just because of a Google change!
