Hi, I have 4 parakeets I've inherited from my parents. They are in a large flight cage (31x20x53). They have formed 2 bonded pairs and the hens have started laying eggs. I've put a hanging tent in the cage, as well as a nest box on the side. My question is can the 2 pairs be successful in one cage?

The cage sounds big enough and it sounds like you're providing each pair their own space. If both hens are laying, I would suggest two nest boxes so they don't fight over a single one.
