Pheonix decided to stop by and introduce himself to the Sunnies formally. He has seen them when they were still very young and use to preen them and such, but we've just decided to put them side by side in the same room. Pheonix is LOVING having them close by now....He's almost like "Marley who?" LOL

In Australia Andi. Pheonix loves my Sunnies, although he first met them before they were feathered and I believe instantly took on a protective role with them. It's very cute to watch.

Marley is another story, she's jealous of them I feel, but she has a very dominating and sometimes mean personality lol...typical English :P She bosses Pheonix around everychance she gets too...So she doesn't spend much time with the Suns, I was worried she would hurt them as young chics, now I worry they may hurt her lol..they have surpassed the keets in size quite a bit.

lol great pic and well ya they would surpass the size of your keets even amazon lady there lol...

i think phoenix has found a roll from the tough early days of phoenix plus he was quite young and a baby himself too..when he played sort of a foster parent to marley...and now he is doing it again in a way with these guys...

i think he is your lil foster parent and ambassador to any new birds and will be a real boon to helping any of your birds in that roll to settle them and encourage them...

so lucky to have phoenix in your group laugh

I absolutely agree Pheonix, he is very much a gentle little bird. He loves when I get the Sunnies out and goes bananas in his cage until I let him out too. The Sunnies are very gentle with him to, surprisingly as they can be very full on and clumsy still being babies. But they are always careful not to walk on him or land and knock him or anything like that....

He is a treasure to have smile

I think Marley is jealous also. I never let her see me with the Sunnies as it sends her crazy. I always give her cuddle time aswell. but I think she knows when they are all out together with me as they are so loud lol - it's excited screeching and Pheonix always joins in too.

I know I would not have the skill to handle that many types of birds, but I can still be jelous! Your babies are just so beautiful. All the birds on this forum are. I might just be turning into a bird lady and all this time I thought I was a dog person. post another video of the sunnys when you get a chance.

Hope Marley is progressing and doing well too.
