How long should I let Blitz out of the cage? He seems to like it I geuss since he goes out on his own. I don't know when he wants to get back in though. So, how long do you let your keets out?
Also, since he lieks going out so much i was thinking of buying him a gym. Good idea or bad?

Should i close the blinds for the window? He keeps flying and hitting his head on it.. or does he know he cant get out?

He obviously doesn't know he cant or he wouldnt be doing that. You should always cover up mirrors and windows before letting them out. They could easily kill themself flying full speed into a window or mirror.

Help! I dont wanna make a new thread so imtyping this here. Blitz keeps on itching himself! He's been cleaning and itching for the past 10 mins! Does he have fleas? Or do they always do that? Now hes making a wierd sound like hes in pain or something.. and hes still cleaning! Whats wrong!!

It's called preening. It's normal.

For the outside time, my personal opinion would be: min 30mins, max 1:30-2hours

I have an outside perch that attatches right to the side of their cage, so when they're ready to go back in, they just climb to the door and go back themselves. Of course, your keet might not be able to find the door the first time, but you'll see him looking, and then you can help him find it. I always gave mine a while to figure it out before I helped them in, just so they could learn.
