I'm looking at these pics, & thats not what Cleo's cere looks like up close 7 in person, the cere in person looks almost identical to when he/she was a baby, but these pics look so much different then when in person.. Now i'm even more confused. It's more pink in person, just like a baby cere

To quote someone who used to be on here that knew his sexes; if there is white around the nares you have a girl. I would go with that.

ALL of my birds have been molting for months it seems like!!! Piper just got done a molt, Cleo as you can see is going thru a major molt, and That pic of Riz was taken a little while ago, but he looks like a pin head right now too!!!
Cleo NEVER looks like a happy camper! Piper is always pleasant! Rizzo is the clown! Major clown, the things that bird does is hysterical!

Sorry I'll try to stop sneaking pics of Levi!!!!!

My Jazz had a cere just like your Cleo's cere. It is getting darker purple as he develops into a young adult bird. You can also tell by the personality. Boys are more vocals. (In my experience.) Also, I read, that it could depend on color. Pied keets who are male often have purplish ceres and female pied will have light pink/white. When I took Jazz to the vet the last time when his cere was still a bit light, the vet said, "You have a little boy." You could take your keet to the vet to have it's DNA tested for an accurate answer, but that could stress your keet out. So, I would not reccomend it. That is why I didn't take Jazz to the vet to figure out gender, for fear of putting stress on the little guy. :] It's up to you though. Consider your keets feelings though.

Good luck!

Also look at Cleo's feet and notice that they are pinker than your boys. That is another way to tell; boys will have a bluish tint to them and girls will be pink.

BLR, I have noticed cleo's feet are pinker & Piper's seem to be a greyish bluish..

Jess... Cleo is about a year old almost, and I have considered taking to vet, but he/she is not like Piper and would get WAY TOOOO stressed, I guess I'm just gonna be wondering always! Unless she drops out eggs, which some females never even do that sometimes! As for personality, I swear Cleo would be a girl based on that, Piper bobs his head all the time, sings, & cleo is more timid, schreeches & sqwaks, Piper will come right up & check you out, Cleo turns around and pretends he/she is doing something else to avoid contact with anybody!
