I've been really busy this past week working on and setting up a new Mac laptop. I grew up using Apple IIe and IIgs computers but I haven't used a Mac related machine in quite a long while. It's very intuitive - I haven't had any issues at all learning how to move around in it or to use the screens.
I've signed up for the iPhone development system with Apple and have downloaded all the tools. I'm halfway through the training manual and it's going very smoothly! I hope to have new iPhone applications out shortly.
My aim is to start with a few common ones I've been asked for a lot by my visitors -
* wine types database, for people at restaurants * low carb chart database, again for eating out
I also want to create a meditation timer with fun chiming noises, for people to use when they meditate so they can set whatever chime sound they want.

Those sound lovely. I think the latter two would be of much interest to me. Not so much with wine, as I tend to always get whatever is cheapest on the menu. I won't need an app for that.

Jilly - even if you get the cheapest, say they had a cabernet, a chardonnay, a pinot grigio and a merlot all for $4.99 a glass. You might be curious about which goes best with your steak dinner

I have stalled on this project, I have just gotten too busy with the LisaShea server move which took over a month. I am just about done finalizing the server move. There is just some cleanup work to do at this point and then I can shut the old server down.
Then I can get back to my app development I hope!
