The smaller cage we have Pinto in, our elderly bird, has perches literally about 1/2" from the bottom of the cage. So very low, she can sit on the perch if she wants or she can sit on the bottom, without worrying about falling. We covered the bottom with soft pine so if she does fall over it is very soft. We have to clean that daily, because of her diarrhea, and that way her air is fresh smelling.
It's also very important to keep providing fresh water, and fresh food. Water especially, so dehydration does not happen.
Especially if your keet has been falling, going to the vet for the pain killer medication could be extremely helpful. Again, it's very cheap and it will really help your keet feel better.
