Thats stupid!!!!! You think a vet would just take care of it, and let her pay off as she can!

Holy ****!! Did anyone read the answers?? This is a good example as to why you should never trust things like "Yahoo answers" for answers to serious questions:

"either borrow money for a vet, give it to a rescue, or kill it."

"ask your vet and see how much it would cost all together to fix it/ look and see what to do and save up money ask for donations to help a parakeet's badly hurt wing and just do the best you can to keep it healthy and comfortable at all times!"

And the winner of them all!!: "well u should rlly take it to a vet but since u dont hav the $$ i say lay it down cover its face with a jacket or somehting and cut it off.after that put on achool and there u go.good luck!"

OMG, I CAN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. Does anyone have yahoo where they can get in touch with this person???? That bird needs to be rushed to the vet RIGHT NOW!!!!! Any vet regardless on whether she has money or not, will see that bird, they have to, that bird is gonna DIE if he doesn't get immediate help AND A VERY PAINFUL ONE!!! MY GOD, THAT POOR POOR BIRD!!!! And she doesn't even give a explanation to what happened, it looks like he was attacked by another animal, a cat or a dog maybe MY GOD I never seen something so horrible in my life!!!!

i just threw up and may never be able to sleep again frown
stupid is not even CLOSE to what that was!!!!. i have seen fighting roosters taken better care of than that. omg... my stomach hurts and my heart is broken! "I DON'T WANT IT TO BE IN PAIN"????? there is no respect, love or even acknowledgment of that helpless little keet! obviously no one is thinking about how it would HURT... IF THEY'RE ARM WAS NEARLY SEVERED AND HAD BEEN HANGING OFF FOR HOW LONG?
that has to be the most cruel, disgusting thing i have ever seen. can any of you even IMAGINE one of your babies like that?
how could someone stomach that enough to "ask" for opinions in the first place, let alone ADVERTISE IT IN FULL COLOR? birdie isn't the only one who needs to see a doctor. (GRRRRR)

People just feel that parakeets are disposable and cheap. My keets are priceless and I love them and would spend whatever i needed to on them

I actually reported one of the answers as abuse. I kept thinking about it and was bothered almost as much as I was by the original question. I reported this one:

"well u should rlly take it to a vet but since u dont hav the $$ i say lay it down cover its face with a jacket or somehting and cut it off.after that put on achool and there u go.good luck!"

They are trying to advise amputating the wing by covering it with a blanket and then putting alcohol on it. I was terribly disturbed.

From yahoo: "If one or more reliable users report this answer it will be removed."
Maybe someone else would want to report it as well. Or the question itself to get it removed, I guess. Horrible.
