Yes, Darkness, I took her to Windcrest. I really liked how they treated me and Daisy. They're pricey, but they are the bird experts in our area. We like Tristate, too! Did you go to the open house this year? It was pouring but it was still standing room only!
Thank you for the list of shelters and rescues, Aminah. I really appreciate that. Actually, Tristate only cares for wild birds. They are the ones who get deployed when there's an oil spill. I took my son there for their open house in May. I think we ended up in one of the pics on the website. They are a wonderful organization with rehabiliation and re-release in mind. They do surgery, feed orphaned babies, and offer advice. Very good stuff!
