Also to add on,
some 'adults' use older birth dates and pretend to be adults when they're kids.
That's why Lisa doesn't allow 13's and under kids to apply on the forum.

Kids do wrong things sometimes.
Like I said, if the problem persists I will notify PDM.

I have already sent PDM a message.
Hopefully she will answer tomorrow.

I wonder how many got hit with PMs?
Is there any chance it could involve a virus of some kind?

I got two. I check PM's before I check out the posta and threads, so I immediately sent PDM a PM, telling her how weird I thought it was. She said, (in very...bad english) that she wanted to know me and to never mind doing it on here, to put it on her email address!!

So you learn something new every day! Now I know what a "spammer" is

Does anyone knowhat does this person get from us giving her on e mail. I would never give it but I am wondering what does this person get out of sending everyone emails? Do you think they can hack into our things if we send our e mail address? Just very curious on why someone would waste the day on this! It is quite annoying!!

At the bottom right of posts there is a 'notify' facility.

Click on that and an e-mail will be sent to me and to Lisa.

Both of us try to deal with things quickly, but sometimes we are not available immediately, so then just ignore the 'spammer' until we can deal with the situation.

I banned this member when I got home yesterday evening and I removed her posts from the forum boards. However, personal messages will already have been posted to members' inboxes by then. smile

It's a very real possibility that they could hack into your e-mail. My husband had a spammer hack into his e-mail once and send a spam e-mail to everyone in his contact list. It was the strangest thing. I got this spam e-mail from my husband, so I asked him about it and he checked his sentbox and sure enough there it was. He just changed his password and it didn't happen again, but it was definitely odd. They also might be trying to get your e-mail to add to their spam list. Who knows.

Indeed.
The moral is, don't answer spammers & don't post your e-mail address on the web for all to see.
