I was wondering if 39.683 grams is getting kinda chubby for sweetie. He stayed at 1.1 oz for a long time and now that he will be celebrateing his third birthday July 1st., he has weighed in tonight at a whopping 1.4 oz. or the above coversion to grams. He is healthy and sleek and his feathers are beautiful and he doesn't appear to be fat. I thought like any creature they probably reach real adult maturity after a few years. What do you guy's think? Does he have to start on the stairmaster?

Some keets are larger than others, Sweetgirl was 41 or 43 grams at her last visit, yet the vet said she was not overweight and "carried her weight well"

I agree with Cetan. Edgar is large but his body is compact so he shows his fat big time. He gets overheated very quickly. I would say if sweetie is healthy and happy then I wouldnt worry.
Edgar weighs the same as sweetie yet he is very overweight because of his more compact frame.

LOL So far all my guys have weighed in at 30-32 grams. I have all little squirts wink My worry is at the other end of the scale, what is too light?
