Oh man they are sooo cute! Kinda cool that they are so much alike but then unique in their own way. I never knew they might start with an ALL black beak. That's neat smile
How do they like being handled?

Oh they are SO cute! Do they recognise you? Is Q-Tip ok with you handling them?

thanks everyone, the babies are both doing great, i'm gonna decide on names soon.

the parents don't spend all day in the box anymore, they only go inside to feed the babies, then back outside to preen and congratulate each other. when I reach in to take the babies, the parents certainly watch me, but they aren't panicked anymore... no yelling, and when I'm gone they return to their preening.

the babies both seem to enjoy coming out of the box and exploring the couch... when they are in the box they are either sleeping or flapping or trying to reach the exit... in one more week they should be big enough to leave for good. the younger one still whimpers after a few minutes so i put him back in the box to relax, but the older one seems happy to climb all over me and nibble on my ear. i think we're gonna be best friends smile
