Look at all the garbage these people are letting their birds eat! Chips and coke?! Are you kidding me?! They thinks it's fun and cute but many of the comments say otherwise, what do you think?

:o [size:14pt]Wow, [color:#990000]that can’t be good! :o [size:11pt]The fact that the birds are out & about with that couple (And appear to be part of the family) is really fun to see :) . That part of the video really is neat. BUT. . . [size:14pt]. . .The food! [color:#990000]NO! NO! NO! [size:11pt]I know NOTHING about cockatoos, conjures, or cockatiels. . . But I know better than to feed them that [color:#990000]crud as “bird food!” Don’t you wish it were possible to sit down with people like that and explain that if they love their birds, and want them to have a happy long life, [color:#990000]“THIS” is what you DO & [color:#990000]“THIS” is what you NEVER DO?!

It looks as if some of the comments mentioned the food choices being bad.
I don't think they know any better.

it isnt good at all

but working in a bird rescue and a bird vet you would be SHOCKED how many people do feed this xxxx to their birds!!!

we have a budgie in once who had an impacted crop ... when we emptied it out it was full of cheetos and jolly ranchers.

the owners reply?

"but squeaker loves them so much"

obviously not!!!!

and that is probally the reason why in the video you can clear see the cockatoo is a feather plucker.

Grrrr -- stupidity and cowardice and laziness & it reminds me of the parents who want to be their kids' "friend" instead of parent! But anyway... What is wrong with so many bird owners? Or, more positively---- thank goodness more and more bird owners are wising up to better nutrition and health care!

Thats pretty sad. The only people food we fed my cockatiel from the table was flax cereal, cheerios, and kashi heart to heart. She loathes fruits and veggies, so her daily morning cereal is the only added vitamins she gets!

But coke! Coke shouldn't even be fed to people.

is plain rice and spaghetti ok for parakeets and Eclectus Parrots? When I had chickens I fed them table scraps except for pork and chocolaty things. glazed donuts VERRY rarely and some gateraid and jello. but like i said that was for chickens.
