Man, parents can be so frustrating sometimes can't they?! LOL
They won't let you what? Move your bird to different location in your house, or leave a radio on? Or both? I'm confused
Anyway, at least try to make him warmer in your room with warmer blanket and getting him away from outside walls. Maybe put plastic on your bedroom window(s) or hang a blanket at the window.If your floors are cold put a rug or something under his cage stand to try to protect him from the cold more.

well, the way my room is built, the heater runs around the walls on the floor so kinda like this
wall= _______
heater = --------

_______________________(top of wall)

---------------------------------
______________________(bottom of wall and floor)

best i can explain it.

my radio can stay on but they wont let me move my bird to a different location.

Play with him a lot. He/she may start chirping out of contentment.

Hey, at least you can leave the radio on when you're not there smile
Is he still fluffed up alot? Is he active and playing like normal? Is he eating normally? And is he back to his usual chirpy self yet?

Hey Jess, I just noticed you got your bird in August-I did too! LOL
Two months for an appointment? That's crazy! Ughh
If he's not puffed up all the time, doesn't seem to be sleeping more than norm,eating normally and back to his chirpy self maybe it was just cause you rearranged your room or he was having a bad day or 2. Just keep an eye on him.If you notice he still not acting right you'll have to try to get him in sooner of course
Did he normally play with toys? If he's not in to playing with toys try playing with the toys yourself and make it out like they're soo cool. Sometimes it helps if ya show them how smile
Any luck with veggies yet?
