Oh, somehow I don't think a thread on fantasies - either male or female or both - would be acceptable here. Little ears, you know! LOL.

Probably the "little ears" people could make us blush.

Oh, yeah, favorite songs - "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus."

Here's a favorite from the old movie, "Rome Adventure:"

Al di la - Jerry Vale

Ray Charles Singers - Al di la

Poor quality, but brings back memories.

Now these are better:

Al Di La - Clebaobaobao

Al di la Domenico Modugno

Right now the CD in my car is the 3 tenors. My husband depises opera and always makes fun of it. What a moron. LOL
I love Nessun Dorma, anybody's version but Aretha Franklin or Michael Bolton. Talk about butchering a song.
When the 3 tenors perform that song together, it's spectacular.
That is one CD that I play over and over again, and I like it loud.

I'm only a couple of levels above your hubby, I'm afraid. I've heard some music that was at least sung my opera stars, and I liked it. But some opera music I can't understand, nor like.

So I guess I'm similar in music, art, and wine - open to appreciate, but personally selective. But, since I've seen such a wide variety of likes and dislikes in others, I don't make fun. It can go both ways.

Back to songs I remember (and liked) from movies (in my Junior year in H.S., I was a balcony captain in the Fox Theatre in Atlanta) -

In the Circus of Horrors, there was a hauntingly beautiful song called, "Look for a Star."

Circus of Horrors (1960)

You Tube - Garry Mills - Look for a Star

Then there's the movie (and song) "Never on Sunday:"

You Tube - Manos Hatzidakis - Never on Sunday (Cover)

Its to hard to pick a favorite song as I like a lot of different types. The only thing that I really do not like at all is opera and heavy metal music.
I also like the music from the 1930's on up (the real oldies the stuff that was popular during and after world war 2.
I graduated in the mid 60's so that put me in the beach boy era the motown era and the beatles also heavy metal started coming out and that I did not like at all.

I like songs that you can understand what they are singing.

I like music with a good beat as we use to go dancing a lot before the stupid knees got bad.

I go to a water exersize class with ladies that are in their 70's and 80's and I have made them a cd with music from the 30's and 40's and they just love it and so do I. I play the keyboard so can record stuff into my computer and then burn it to a cd which is quite fun. We do our class to the cd and I get a kick out of it because they always try to guess what the song is. One of the ladies was a music teacher so she is pretty good.

This reminds me I promised them a Christmas one so I got to get going on that.

My name is Connie

That's a good hobby, Connie. My wife and her Mom always enjoyed going to the Y and doing water exercise. Where we live now, there's no heated pool at the Y, but we do have a pool in our back yard now. And Marge and her sister do some exercises there. But now, with the cold, there's only the jacuzzi.

Do you remember "Fascination?"

I watched (& listened) to the you-tube video of that. But this is the one I remember (from 1962):
