Yes it is amazing how fast they grow. The fact that two are still pink with hardly any quills and the yellows are so much bigger amazes me. Yet they hatched every other day for 12 days.

I plan to find homes for each of them, unless i fall for a personality of one. Its so hard to say goodbye, but i know where each one goes and stay in contact with the people. I love hearing how good they do, especially in homes with kids/adults who play with them alot.

Im going to go clean them right now, so ill be back with some new shots.

OC Mommy, yes these are all from the same clutch. Mom and Dad are both green keets. First clutch last year, one hatched and produced Peeps. My little green guy in my slide show. I kept him as he was special. Spring time clutch produced 2 yellow and 4 greens. Fall clutch (didnt get the nest box off in time), produced these guys. The yellow is amazing and surprised me when they first starting getting quills. Thats when i learned greens can produce a yellow, blues can produce a white. Neat for sure.

Updated pics from 10/30. Oldest is now 3 weeks and 3 days old. Three yellows are oldest, three greens youngest. All doing well and starting to nip me with their beaks to hold on. I think the oldest yellow will be kicked out of nest box soon, as he is ready.

Sherby is mostly yellow, with some green and blue. Would he breed with a blue (I want to get one next), and what color is that likely to produce? Also, would a American 3/4 Parakeet breed with a 3/4 English Budgie? I know there's a little difference in size. I'm trying to decide what I would like to get next. I'm not sure if I'd try to breed Sherb anyway, just pondering.
