'visitor-supplied ratings and information about Veterinarians around the world'.
The thing you need to remember is that a list, provided by visitors, to Lisa and her site, may not, necessarily, include those people who Lisa / the site would recommend, personally, and vice versa.
I don't know these vets, and Lisa, presumably, knows only the vets that she has had dealings with.
It is always best to check out vets, if you can, before seeing them. Personal recommendations are probably best.
If not personal ones, then those you can find on forums or review sites.
However, in saying that, a member has had a very negative experience at a practice where references I have found on the Internet have been very good.
I understand that others have, though, found less complimentary posts.
Just be careful ~ or as careful as you can.
