i reached my hand in my parakeets cage to feed him and he flew around like crazy and fell to teh bottom of the cage, which is normal for him. Then when he hopped back on his perch, he couldnt stay on it. i think he hurt/broke his feet or something. they're kinda curled up. He's still singing and healthy but his feet are hurt . Can a vet fix this? what should i do? It JUST happened because he was completely FINE before this happened, and im worried. Help me:(

i am new to birds myself and dont really know how to help you. i wanted to keep this at the top though so someone else can. keep watching him. maybe hes just in shock from the fall? if hes singing thats a good sign at least.

Yeah I agree, but I too a, new to birds... I think you should watch him yo see if it is getting worse and if you I recommend you take him to the vet and fast... maybe they can help... good luck.

get him to a vet immediately. he may have internal bleeding, or have fractured his bone. is there an avian vet in your area who is qualified to fix this?
