Thank you every one. I think I loved him just about as much as I loved Scouser. And now, both gone in just weeks of each other, I'm a basket case. I can barely keep it together.
He fought so hard to live. He'd look like he was about to take his last breath, seconds passed and not breath, and I'd say something about how brave or how good a budgie he was, and he'd open his eyes and right himself up and stand there again. For hours he did this.

you are so strong when sam passed...8 days ago....i couldnt do anything with out thinking of him. i bought another bird the next day just to get the others to stop callin him. i cant believe how big of an impact these lil guys have made on us.

OMG I avoid this posting area cos it makes me cry but today I saw it and thought no not birdies again. I am so sorry, great tears on keyboard, I remember those lil' birds, so many stories they could have been mine.
All this time Lennon though he'd go hanging by his tail feathers at the beak of Bijou.Lame attempt a getting a lil' smile from you sorry.
I don't have words, I just feel sad, but I bet they are wearing Got Millet? t-shirts and running around being lil' hams in heaven.

Thanks Coco's Mama. I've had such a hard time, being hit by the passing of first Scouser and then Lennon. I just didn't have the heart to spend time with my other budgies. I'd feed and water, and count them, but then I'd have to leave, or I'd just cry for missing my other two.
McCartney, he's the one that Bijou used to hang by the tail, lol. I'm soo glad she got over that (knock on wood!). Lennon was the one she was in-love with, but guess when she noticed that his health was deteriating, she dumped him for City.
There's a bird show coming up. The last bird show I went to, I came home and discovered that Scouser had passed away.
I stayed away from here, because for missing Scouser and Lennon. But I think I'm about ready to emerge again and play with my other budgies.
