As alot of you guys know I am getting a Timneh Africab Grey.

Well My breeder breeded bird for 12 years and was so tired of people not taking care of the birds she would sell them, and what not. So she sold all her breeder birds.

Her friend (living two hours away) breeds all types of birds. He had ont left this season and told my breeder that we need to jump on it buy the price would be 750. So my parents and I thought about is over night and decided to go ahead and get the bird. So I call my breeder and she tells me its already sold. BUT when he checked one of his boxes he found 2 little babies thet get to go the my breeder on June 23 for weaning.

So in the end everything turned out good. lol

I will not be able to have pictures for about 2 weeks.

Thats awsum! Iv always loved the African greys.There SO smart! NOt that keets arnt. I have one myself. And its always good to get a bird young. They bond with you good that way. Good Luck!

So when do you think you will be able to bring the Grey home? Are you going to get it sexed?

3bud-well it normaly take her 2 to 3 months to wean it. So around october. Yes I do plan on having it sexed before I give it a name. I want it to have a good name because I will be calling it that for 40-50 years. lol

pinksnowme- I am going to wait till it is about 1 and a half months old to name it. By then it will have most of its feathers and have a personality. I will narrow it down to five names and make a poll to see what yall like.
