Well, sort of. They go in tomorrow for a 2pm appointment to get the nails and wings trimmed.

It'll be about $40 for both, but I'm terrified to do them myself. So the little stinkers get to go on a field trip! I'll have pictures after their appointment.

Haha, they're molting bad right now, though. Lots of pin feathers on the face and veeeery itchy. It's so bad that Pearlie's been letting Georgie preen him, which NEVER happens.

I'll have to warn the technician about Pearlie's biting habit. He's gotten so much better, but he can still clamp down on your finger grin

I also wish I hadn't stepped on the second travel cage. It was the middle of the night and I totally smooshed it cry So the boys will have to do with one travel compartment.

i love taking them in for nail trims, it feels like i am taking care of them. i take them to a breeder shop that does nails for 5.00 a bird and wings for 5.00 a bird...but we are no longer trimming wings. Just tell the person that so and so is a strong biter or so and so is a really strong flier so they know how to handle. Keet bites are really not that hard. Get a parrotlet and you will see what a hard bite is LOL!!
