hey all, i have at the moment just 1 cement swing for my 2 keets, my male keet loves it as well as my female but my male always sleeps on that swing at night, the female sleeps on the rope perch, now i have a question, would the female like it better if i were to get another cement perch? so then they both will have a cement perch or theres no need for 2 swings? they both use the swing during the day but the male is on it most of the time and likes to sleep on it too btw i do have 1 big swing that both of the keets can sit on but its not a cement one and the cement is important and i couldnt find a large cement swing like for cockatiels

I would think it is fine what you have now if your keets are not fighting over it. You could get another one just to see if she would like to be on it at night but that's up to you.

My blue that recently died he has this toy that looks like a teeter totter and it has a mirror on both sides with a bell underneath. Well anyway this was his favorite thing and when I started getting my other keets they all wanted it too and would fight over it so I had to get more lol but if yours isnt fighting over it I would think it is fine.

I wouldn't suggest putting any mirrors in the cage. the keets will become attached to the "other" bird in the cage and detached from you at the same time.

so try to avoid any toys or anything with mirrors!

I think LLPB has a good point. You are still training your keets, so it would be much, much better not to add any mirrors to the cage.

They are instinctively attracted to any bird or anything that looks like a bird, more than to you. So mirrors can make them less interested in you.

they dont use the mirrors too much btw. and they seem really intrested in me.
