Why is it wrong? They are birds and we are people, theres a difference. Anyway, birds eat eggs in the wild.
They shouldn't be given eggs too often though.

Never looked at it that way. I don't eat eggs. that is kinda of creepy. On anyother note I gave twweter and KiWi a scrabled egg. I made them share one. Tweeter didn't touch it, big surprise. KiWi however ate more than she should have I think. No I didn't put milk in in or cook it with anything (oils or butter). I cooked it straight on the metal pan.

No, birds eating eggs is not like humans eating fetuses. The part of the egg that you eat is not a chicken embryo. It is what provides nourishment to the developing embryo. I guess you could call it babyfood for birds.

Mine have eaten hard boiled eggs when mashed up - I put the white through a new garlic press to get it really fine. They also eat plain scrambled eggs cooked without any oil or shortening and no salt or pepper.

you can give them the egg yolk only! yes sometimes crushed eggshell, NEVER GIVE YOUR KEET EGG WHITES. the albumin can accumalate to a toxic level in the birds from haveing it in there system so many days. you really souldnt evan give the birds egg yolks unless you are breeding and the purpose is to keep there protein up.

also if you do decide to feed egg yolks, you must remove it after a half an hour as it starts to spoil after this amount of time. any other fresh foods should be removed after 1-2 hours depending on the indoor temperture the hotter it is the faster the food spoils.
