Hello everyone,
I have a question and am not sure if I'm in the right area. My Tweety, I think is a girl, has been trying to mate with a mirror in her cage. The mirror is one that spins and has a mirror on both ends. She sits on one end while kissing the other mirror and does her thing like that. Should I take the mirror out? Tweety has the run of the house most of the time and loves to play on her gym and with her toys. She is talking now and says her name. She is also flying to us while we are watching TV and talks in our ears. Thanks for any feedback you can give me.

If she is affectionate with you, and comes to you when you call her/steps up when you want her to, I think you can let her keep the mirror.

Mirrors are mainly a problem if the bird prefers the bird in the mirror to any other company and starts becoming antisocial.

"Kissing" isn't necessarily mating behavior, by the way. She could be trying to feed or preen it, or to get it to preen her, the way birdy pals do.
