my beautiful white keet (Isabelle) has been feeling a bit left out lately because we had to separate her from her 2 buds (who were mating and being vicious to her). We keep her cage next to theirs but she hates be by herself.
So I took her out and she was sitting with me watching TV. She jumped off my lap and grabbed my Capri Sun that was empty and lying on the table. She took the straw out and we played with it for over a half hour. It was the simplest thing but she loved it.
Well I got up to answer the phone and when I came back she was gone. I couldn't find her, had no idea where she was. I called her, the other birds called her, and she didn't answer. So, I started freaking out. Well, I found her after an hour of looking. She was in my bathroom in my light. Its like a case with lights inside, but the top is open, and she was just sitting there. So I grabbed her and we played with the straw again. Then she flew off. So we played hide and seek for a little bit (her flying away, and me trying to find her.) I must say she had a few good hiding spots.
I just thought you'd all enjoy a little story.

That's so cute! Georgie gave me a scare like that a while ago. Basically he decided to fly somewhere in the second level of our house and not answer me. An hour later, I found him in the guest bedroom, but that was only after carrying Fendi around trying to scent him out and a hysteric phone call to my mother

That's adorable! I have some cute pictures of my babies cleaning eachother but i cant figure out how i got my avatar on here....and I am even more confused on how to make them into a signature. but I am so happy that my keeties are getting along. I wish mine would play with random objects like yours though. that is really really cute.

this sounds bad but mine love to play with walgreens pill bottles i dont kow if its the color or what but they love to roll them around. and my mouse for my computer forget about me getting to use it they try to beat it up!
