Ok so i was in a pet store today and i saw a sign "Baby love birds hand raised, very tame, reserve now, in stock soon" Have to say nearly did a backflip with excitement...Before crashing back down to the real world... I know theres no way i have room to fit a second good sized cage in my room =( But all the same, anyone able to tell me about Lovebirds? Ie. What they eat? How tame they can become? Whats there behavior like? Just incase, and even if cant get one, always intresting to know bout these things =)

i know they can become very tame if u dont have another lovebird in the same cage. they will love you and be ur companion. but they do bit hard... dont put the lovebird in the same cage as ur parakeet though, k?

luv,
katty

Yup, ♥KatrionaHarvey♥ is comepletly right. I have read alot of websites with people that recomend only having 1 lovebird if you want to bond with it, 2 if you want to see them cuddle with eachother...
yeah, I think they r very atention demading...

Ahh right, well i've no plans to get any more birds atm, just pigeon =D Hopeing to get a Caquie in about 2-3 years >_< (got to finish uni, and find a suitable house, and then saving enough to buy the bird and suitable cage... Worked it out to be close to £1000... (er i guess nearly $2000) Sigh, one day...one day...
