OP marie Regular Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 93 virginia	I was shopping for parakeet toys months back, and found a whole dried sunflower head, either at petco or petsmart. My birds went NUTS for it - they hung on it, pulled all the seeds out, and then crunched the entire thing. All in all, a very successful toy! Since then, I've never been able to find anything comprable. Does anyone know where I can get another one of these????

You can start the seeds in the house and transfer outside when the weather gets warmer. I grow sunflowers every year and the birds (wild) go nuts for them. No reason you can't cut them off when they start to dry up and bring them inside. Donna Max,Sweetie,Bubbles,Peep,Rayne,Sully.
