Looks like a boy to me, but it might be too young. Not sure at all though.

Just so you know, I noticed a dog in the back of one pic. I wouldn't trust any pet under any circumstance with a bird. Even if your doggie is really mellow and sweet, it could change at any moment!
That's what I think, but it's just a suggestion. I'd keep the dog locked away from Pip and her/his cage.

There are too many precious names for that little bundle of joy!
I really love Pippin though! ... Pip for short. :]
