ok, well i got my birds wings clipped yesterday and then later yesterday and today his(Jose's) wing was drooping. But not all the time... just in intervals. i dont think his wing is broken though because when i take him out on the floor, he can still do the little "flutter" thing birds with clipped wings try to do. Im confused! can anybody help?

I got my birds clipped yesterday also and one of them is doing the same thing. I can't see any blood or any sign of injury and he still moves it, but he keeps holding it out away from his body and i was just about to post something about it when i saw this one. So maybe someone can help us both!!!

I was thinking about this and Tweets did the same thing after he got clipped... I think it is just because the newly clipped wing is uncomfortable and until they get used to it this will continue to happen. smile

I think we decided wiht 3 buds bird that she probably had a feather sticking out in the wrong dirsction and it was uncomfortable to put her wing down right...

It will get better on it's own! smile He just has to adjust to his newly clipped wings! I think it's kind of like when you get a haircut... (well at least for a girl) when you go from really long hair to really short.. there is an adjustment period. smile

it could also be do to the change in the weight of the wings the balance is off a little until they adjust.we know for sure no ones birds wing is broken their acting normal otherwise so I wouldn't worry.
