Hi everyone (again!)

Biskig is acting SO MUCH more social in just a day after getting the band cut off his leg! The birds still pick on him a little, but I noticed they're not as aggressive. Actually as I'm typing this, Lemon sits atop their smaller cage, while Baby and Snow sit in it chortling, and Biskig sits on a lower perch preening. Normally he would be on the ground freaking out!

Anyway, I gave them berries in their "health salad", and you have to see what happens when budgies with white faces eat red berries! It's too cute!





This was before Snow's mineral oil treatment for scaly crawlers. Afterwards (and after Snow bit the LIFE out of the softspot between my thumb and forefinger...at least she's healthy!), I broke the gym out and eventually got everyone out of their cages:









Though, initially, Snow liked exploring his cage more:



Then Biskig came out! This is my oldest and most asocial bird, he almost always stays away! I guess cutting off the band really made a difference?

ok i cant look at pictures anymore you make me want to buy more. i found a bird rescue by my new house and well im not allowed to go:( i love your birdies wanna share?

Hehehe! Aw, I love my budgieboos, I couldn't give them away for the world. But, if you're ever in the Virginia area, we could have a playdate with them!

They are soo cuteeee! I guess getting the band removed really DOES help, eh?

Apparently so! Even he and his buddybird Lemon are more affectionate toward one another.

I didn't know mineral oil treated scaly face huh..learn something new on here everyday.

They do look like they are a little gang of friends hanging outside the the house gossiping what not!!
