Hey yall! I'm need some advice on moving with my keets. I'm moving to NC next month from MS, it's going to be about a 12 hour drive. Just wanted to get the do's and don'ts for moving with my birdies. Thanks!

Well, buckle the cage in good, bet ya know that, but take everything out except the food and water. No toys, swings, anything. Just food and water.

Hope you will be happy smile but I am so lucky to have a bird like Tweety! I can take her outside and she won't fly away, and she loves when I put her on trees!

Wow Emmie you take her outside? That is so cool, I bet she loves it. I would just be scared some big mean bird would swoop down and gobble her up frown Just keep a good eye one her, but I'm sure you do any how.

I'm from NC originally, so it will be nice moving back to my home town. But it may just be temporary because I could be getting another job soon in SC.

And should I cover the cage when driving or no?

She does love it, and even if ANYTHING think of hurting my bird... nevermind She does love it. She likes to nibble on the leaves and grass, and she just soaks up the sun It doesn't matter if you cover the cage... I didn't, and they just sat there, doing nothing.

How did you get them able to go outside like that? I would be scared to death of them flying away.
