Umbrella Cockatoos! They're soo sweet. I found one at a petstore that I was soo tempted to get because he was following me around so that I would scratch his head but I already have two keets to work on so I stopped myself. I'll get one eventually though.

Cockatiels rule
Had a love bird and a very nasty blue crown conure
but Cockatiels rule, he is my baby and the sweetest
next would be a Cockatoo, but my 2 keets and cockatiel, cat and dog and kids keep me busy, there is just so much time I can divide myself up, so for now I keep telling myself No I have enough

I want either a white umbrella cockatoo or an african grey. I definitely want a large bird when I get my own place, probably whatever catched my eye at the shelter will come home with me. smile

I have been researching cockatoos for about 5 years now. I really want one when I have the time and space to accomodate one. Also, one BIG thing about owning any large birds is knowing who will care for them after you die. Most have lifespans aas big as ours.

My other favorit kind of bird are Lovebirds! Their just so sweet and beautiful to look at smile
My friend has one and hes the most kind bird I've ever seen! He whouldnt hurt a fly! He walks around the house like its hes cage, he has hes own little fountain, and she even lets him eat from her plate (depends what kind of food though). He dances, and could even say hes name! (Kiki). Lovebirds are just so sweet smile
