Make sure that their is no nails sticking out, and the wireing is safe. Good Job on it, keep us posted for when you do get one. I can't wait to see pics!

Just make sure the conure cannot chew through it, they chew really well and have strong beaks, so be very careful. Personally I prefer wrought(sp) iron/steel cages, powder coated. Unfortunately they are pricey as hell especially considering the size you need for a conure. Remember to that the smaller the cage is the louder the conure will be, I have had so many people tell me this and it seems to stand true, that cage looks nice size so no worries, just something people told me about. Best of luck to you and very nice craftsmanship. Good luck. Jloc

Yes please reduce that avatar.

And beautiful bird, conures are so much fun and beautiful! Really try and repeat words with them and whistles, our Tiki a yellowsided conure has picked up so many words, whistles and sounds already. He nibbles our hand a bit too much but we are trying to get him to stop, he isn't biting but I think he is trying to preen us, he is very sweet and is super playful as yours looks to be. Look into getting some big toys with lots of thin ropes in them, Tiki loves chewing and swinging on ropes and chains, just loves it. Also Tiki really loves oranges and apples, we feed him a lot of of the beak appetite wet food mixes, he loves them but he always has some seed mix throughout the day. And since you made that nice cage you should try to add a nice sized bath tub, conures love to bath, I always use warm water and filtered or bottled water, tap water has some chemicals that are not good for birds at all like flouride and such, so try to always be using filter/bottled water for their drinking or bathing water, a bath in the sink or shower is not a big deal but whenever you can use the filtered or bottles water, especially for drinking water. Well best of luck and keep the photos coming, if you have any questions don't hesistate to ask. Jloc
