Those are really cute pics, I also liked the pic with Andy and his feather. It also takes forever for my keets remove them, they try to scratch it off with their feet but it just moves to another part of their head. Once I see it has taken so long (and after a couple of giggles) I try to help them out. Thanks for sharing the pics! smile

cute pics! i love when they stretch their necks up to preen. ricky will be resting with no neck whatsoever and then it just shoots up from nowhere and bends in on itself to preen his neck... lol like one of the boxing toys where the losers head flys up

Arr, Bird doesn't like me trying to get feathers leftover on the head from preening.

I liked them all... aren't keets funny... they all love to do the sillest things... Kazu really gets into his preening... and then when he gets mad cause he can't reach "that spot" he chirps loudly... and then looks at me... saying "come and get this spot for me"...

heh, speaking of feathers, that reminds me of something my bird does...

every once in a while, she'll lose a very long tail feather or large feather on her wing. Boy, she can't stop playing with those! she just keeps it in her mouth, moving it back and forth, flipping it, etc. Of course, she has dropped it to the bottom of her cage many times in the past, and I try to be nice and give it back to her. She grabs it as quickly as she can from me, usually before I get it in enough to keep it from falling again. But it's ok, she has learned how to use her feet to keep it to the perch when she first gets it, and can pick it up from there. Quite amusing to watch smile
