what is amazing to me is how fast they develop into tiny lookalike of the adults. Ihave said many times I wish I could see what is going on in the nest. I bet you can almost watch the feather grow in. It happens so fast. Like time lapse photograhpy only in real time. The parents literaly push them out of the nest. They get behind them and push them up to perch on the edge of the opening. Mom and dad preen the baby and brush out the down as the reg feathers come in.
It's been a very exciting and amazing time for me and I'm glad I got to be a part of it even if it was a a spectator. smile

He is so cute marie. I was at several pet stores yesterday and can't believe how beautiful love birds are. My husband fell in love with a peach colored love bird but we were out looking for a parakeet.

Well Yammi is in it's own cage now. This is day 2. Seems to be adjusting well although Jewel is not. Rosey has laid 2 new eggs and it was time for Yammi to be on his own. he is eating and rinking on his own and exploring the new home. I have had him perch a few times already and he sits willing on my finger or hand. He also flew for the frist time today. Not too good either. I bought him a Teddy bear (small) for a snuggle buddy and he is taking to it. I'm going to post some pictures later today
