For the last couple of weeks I've been taking the keet into the bathroom with me when I take a shower. I just carried their cage in and then left the door open checking on the every once in a while of course. This morning when I took my shower I did the same usual thing but I let them perch on my fingers and went in. They absolutly loved it smile They would perch on my fingers and close their eyes and were just so relaxed. They were all warbling as well. I was so happy. They didn't appear stressed at all! I had to take some pictures when we got out so here are a few of them....

What a cool idea! I can't wait until our keet gets comfortable enough with us to be taken out of the cage and carried around - even into the shower maybe! (we've only had him for six days so far, so I'm trying to be patient!)

Your keets are all soooooo adorable!
My keet has a Barbie pool that he likes to roll around in, but I haven't tried taking him into a shower!

My birds hate baths, and showers. Gabriel likes to sit outside the shower on top of the cabinet, and feel the mist of the shower, but he does not at all like the water. He gets EXTREMELY stressed, and shakes like a leaf. He seems to like it if he doesn't get wet, though.

Shalom is the same. He hates getting wet. Everything I've read says that budgies love getting baths, but my birds hardly touch them and Hate getting wet. Are they ab-normal?

Those are such nice pics. I heard that many birds take showers with their owners. I mist my birds and tiel has gone under the kitchen faucet when I set it on spray. She loves that. I'm afraid to get them wet now because its a little chilly in my house at this time of year.

I love the pics!! tha babies are grwoing up so fast!they are so sweet!

I just took gus in the shower for the first time the other day. I had never taken him in the bathroom what I was showering, but he could hear it form his cage and sing to it. So when I was in the shwoer my boyfrined called out to me that he was bringing gus to me. a hand popped in the shower with gus on the finger and he hopeed onto me. He was getting a misty spray from the water hitting me, and he was excited and singing, but after a few minutes he leaned towards my neck\chest and got a river of runoff from my neck and I think that the "currant" was too strong for him, and so he trying to take off and flew out the top of the shower to my boyfrind whow as wating by the door to take him back. we shall try more progress later this week laugh

Kait,
The pics are great. My Bobbie used to love taking baths in the bathroom sink and showers under the kitchen faucet, but Icould never get her to come in the shower with me even though she would sit in the bathroom and wait for me. They are so cute when they are wet!
